Research and Documentation
The goal of our research and documentation programme is to record the circumstances and needs of artists in Barbados.
Through this programme, we will construct a cultural policy that focuses on the recognition of our unique and shared cultural experiences; education in the significance of these practices and encourage wider participation in the arts.

Established in 1863 the Lasndship was formed by African ex-slaves living on plantation tenantries. It was essentially a cooperative society whose growth relied on the small contributions of the individual members.
This training Manual covers two main themes:
Building a strong domestic business in the community cultural performance arts; and
Preparing for Internationalization
